OWH Christmas Hop
Welcome to my stop on the OWH Christmas Blog Hop. This Christmas will be a time for us to celebrate with my entire family. Last year, my husband was in Afghanistan. While it was great to get an OWH card from him, it will be even better to have him beside me as we celebrate with our children.
All stamps and inks are from CTMH. I found the pleated ribbon at Hobby Lobby on sale, so naturally, I bought it in three different colors. I used a line of Liquid Glass to attache the red ribbon on top. I used a gold gell pen to color the ornament "wires".
Just because we can't use glitter doesn't mean we can't get a little bling. These little pearls are perfect accents. If they are attached well enough, they will survive the long trip from oversees. On the other hand, if they don't survive, it's not a drastic loss. The shiny ribbon provides plenty of shimmer.
Remember that all Christmas cards are due to your OWH shipper by October 31.
Until next time,
Becca

Becca, what a lovely card. I don't know if you remember that I contacted you a long time ago about my husband becoming an army chaplain. Well, he is being commissioned on Monday as a Navy Chaplain. We're so excited to see what God has for us with this new ministry. Thanks so much for answering questions for us long ago!
