I colored with Copics on the front side then turned my hearts over. I was getting ready to stick them down when I suddenly thought, "I like this side better." See, told you it was terribly difficult!
I'm entering this in the CAS-ual Fridays, Curtain Call, and Runway Inspired challenges.
Kinda fun, huh?
Until next time,
Becca
LOL, glad you got your card entered on time! I really like this - much better than mine! I love how the back side of your colored hearts are so pretty! My backsides are never pretty LOL!

Oh, Becca - I am LOVING your technique. Before I read how you created the effect, I thought that perhaps you had water coloured them as that's what it looks like. Simply gorgeous. I don't have copics but I do have spectrum noir pens and so I am just going to HAVE to give this a shot!! Thank you for sharing it xx
ReplyDeletebeautiful card, becca!! the reverse of the flowers is so pretty... what a fun technique!!
ReplyDeleteHow cool to use the back side! They totally look watercolored!! Fabulous design!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! I love how romantic it looks...like an English garden...all vintagie and stuff. ;) Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGreat embossed chevrons and love the heart trio. Thanks for joining us at The Curtain Call.
ReplyDeleteWhat?! That's AMAZING. I totally gotta give that a try! Your card is awesome!

Well aren't you the smart one!! : ) I agree, the back side is just lovely!! Really love how your super-challenging technique turned out. Thanks so much for joining the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!
ReplyDeleteBecca this is really lovely! The technique isi awesome. Thank you so much for sharing with us at the Curtain Call!
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh Becca, you are so talented. The only thing I ever seem to use the back of my Copic colorings for is to bleed out some color that has crossed over the lines. LOL
ReplyDeleteI think both sides are lovely, but filpping them over sure makes for a special and lovely look.

Beautiful!!! I probably don't color the fronts as nicely as you have, the back sides are definitely not this cool! Still, I'll keep trying, the look is "dreamy"!
ReplyDeleteOh you are brilliant! I love that you used the backside of your cardstock- I also thought it was some new watercolored technique! Thanks so much for joining us on the Runway!
ReplyDeleteThat is totally genius and yes, I love the effect on the back so much more than the defined images on the front! I will totally have to try this out! Thanks for strutting your stuff with us at Runway Inspired Challenge!
