Something Old, Something New

Hubby and I are off to friends for dinner tonight.  I wanted to take a small hostess gift and decided on a set of note cards.  While all supplies except the Baker's Twine (from Stampin' Up!) are CTMH, this card a mix of old/discontinued and new.

Everything stamped in Olive as well as the Honey colored base of the flowers is from the Unscripted (new) stamp set. The Terracotta overstamped flower and Thank You are from Treasures (old), and the notepad lines stamped in Cocoa is from the Typeset Workshop on the Go kit (new but set to discontinue at the end of this month).  The paper is old B&T in Terracotta.

I used an old Mojo Monday sketch (#212) for my layout.

I love how this turned out.  I hope my hostess likes it, too!

Until next time,
Becca

  4. I really like the honey/terracotta color combo on the flowers. The stamped lines add a nice faux texture kind of touch. All your elements work really well together! Thanks for playing with us at H2H!

  6. I'm a big fan of small mats and the skinny dark mats really makes the elements pop. Very pretty.

  7. I really drawn to the honey and autumn terracotta flowers with the notebook lines. The three stamp sets work really well together.
